- HOW DOES OUR INDUCTION WISE COOKER WORK?
- Our induction cooker uses an high frequency, but low Voltage, alternating electric current that
- flows through a copper coil located directly beneath the smooth crystal glass cooking surface,
- which in turn produces an oscillating electromagnetic field. This field induces an electrical
- current in magnetic or ferrous cookware, producing resistive heating within the base of the
- cooking vessel, which cooks the food. In contrast to the other cooking methods like gas burners
- or electrical heating coils and / or radiant hotplates, our induction cooker heats the cooking vessel itself, rather than a gas burner or electrical heating element / coil. That means that the pot or pan will be hot, but areas of the cook top not occupied by the cookware will remain cooler to the touch.
